People, Planet + Profit

We believe that business should be a force for good.

We want to work in the most ethical and environmentally responsible way possible because we believe that business should be a force for good.

So we’re active amongst our clients, colleagues and community to use our skills and resources to help others achieve their potential.

We’re privileged to have our head office just outside Henley, overlooking the river Thames. So we’re particularly conscious of how we impact our environment in everything we do. We incentivise people to cycle to work, and also have a fleet of Practicus bicycles for people to borrow if they need to nip into Henley during the day.

We also operate a car-sharing scheme amongst employees, which we recently invited our office neighbours to join as well.

We’re always looking for ways to use technology to reduce our carbon footprint, so instead of unnecessary travel, we use a lot of Skype. But if we do have to fly somewhere we offset the carbon (through Carbon Neutral).

We’re proud of our ISO 14001 accreditation, but even more proud of the steps we’ve taken since we won it – to considerably reduce the paper we use, and to increase our recycling levels.

We’re also very involved with local charities, particularly the Sue Ryder Hospice, and give every member of staff two ‘volunteering days’ a year where they can offer hands-on support to a charity of their choice.

Every month we also recognise one member of staff who has gone out of their way to support colleagues, by giving a donation to a charity of their choice.

We celebrate and promote diversity and equal opportunities for all.  We aim to create an environment where staff, clients, practitioners and visitors are treated fairly, irrespective of age, disability, gender, race, religion and belief or sexual orientation.
